En mars, j’ai participé à un échange particulier pour la 1° fois. Il s’agissait de réaliser quelque chose pour quelqu’une vivant quelque part dans le monde; une autre en faisait autant pour moi.
J’ai reçu de Lucy qui vit à Breinigsville, aux USA, 8 dessous de verre en lin placés dans un petit sac en tissu… Le tout est illustré d’une théière qu’elle a dessinée, sculptée pour obtenir un tampon avec lequel elle l’a imprimée. Du beau travail …pour le plaisir de procurer de la Joie !
Recently, I made an original exchange; I offered handmade little things to someone and someone did the same for me.
I received from Lucy, from Breinigsville, USA, a small bag and 8 linen coasters… with a teapot she draw, carved & printed on fabric; then she sewed bag & coasters.
I enjoyed a lot her gift, a great work!

I sent to Gretchen, in New York, what I usualy do for friends: card, ATC, bookmark, a fridge or door jewel. Because of the several women, from the world, who participated, I wraped up my things in blue paper (like the sky) with a very long chain made of 3 different threads.
Moi, j’ai envoyé à Gretchen, à New York, ce que vous voyez habituellement sur ce blog: carte, porte-post-it, marque-page, ATC et coeur aimanté à accrocher; le tout enveloppé dans du crêpon bleu et attaché avec une longue chaînette de 3 fils vifs… en pensant aux 40 femmes qui participaient à cet échange!

C’était ma 1° participation à cet échange … qui a quelque chose de « merveilleux » car chacune travaille pour une parfaite inconnue; une façon de se connecter au reste du monde qui ne semble plus si loin ou inaccessible! Bien sûr, je suis partante pour un nouvel échange!

It was my 1st participation; a marvellous, incredible experience because every one works for someone really unknown; a way to connect with the world …it seems less far, inaccessible! Of course, it will be a pleasure to participate in 2018!
